Jennifer knew she wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself when she founded Healthletica in 2011. Healthletica was created to help people find their way back to a healthy lifestyle. Jennifer believes that everyone deserves to feel good and live their best life, no matter where they are in their journey. The knowledge she gained and lessons she learned in her own journey—with IBS, weight struggles, and other more serious health conditions—have allowed her to help others in their journey back to health. After years of hard work building a community and helping people, Jennifer's proud to say that her dream of being part of something bigger than herself has come true.

Alexa is a mindful movement educator, and is working towards her full certification in STOTT PILATES® mat and reformer. She is passionate about sharing practices and teachings that have dramatically altered the way she understands human anatomy and how she views health, and wellness. Alexa discovered Pilates after an injury, as part of her physiotherapy for recovery, and to regain the mobility and strength she needed to continue to teach Yoga. It’s then that she realized the full extent of Pilates, not just as a scientifically-based program of exercises, but beyond strength training: it could be used to help people understand the proper biomechanics of their bodies and develop efficient movement patterns that can help relieve pain and discomfort in their everyday lives. With this, Alexa devoted herself to a new mission to help strengthen the mind-body connection in her students leading to improved postural alignment for longer, leaner muscles, core strength, stability, balance and coordination.
Alexa currently teaches Meditation, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga in the community. She enjoys sharing her passion for Pilates and Yoga, using these two opposing movement systems, and working one-on-one with individuals and small groups with varied and differently-abled populations to provide improved range of motion and confidence.
Alexa has worked in healthcare for over 17 years, most recently with orthopedic, bariatric and general surgeons delivering access to therapeutic treatments and solutions to improve the lives of patients living with chronic pain. She has also led a national not-for-profit organization assisting cancer patients with navigating access to diagnostics and treatment, as well as providing psychosocial programs to patients and their families.

Will helps patients reduce their pain and improve their strength, balance, flexibility and range of motion by enhancing the body’s ability to heal itself. In his practice at Healthletica, he assesses patients’ needs and prescribes therapeutic exercises for them to execute under the careful supervision of a specially qualified exercise specialist. This can take place in personalized one-on-one sessions or in small groups of patients with the same therapeutic needs (e.g., injury prevention or chronic conditions like Parkinson’s disease). At regular intervals, he checks on his patients’ progress and adjusts their exercise plan as needed.
